DERWEN THE EARTH ROAMER
Derwen is a puppet inspired by the ancient forests of North Wales. He is an Earth Roamer: a group of giants that roam their earth, each carrying a village upon their backs.
Made to explore creative warbla sculpting, with a blinking eye mechanism and built to be puppeteered by a single person. Sustainability was at the heart of this project. Derwen is made entirely of Warbla, paper, old water piping and other recycled/ reused materials.
