As a multidisciplinary maker, specialising in puppetry and scenic art, I draw on a large range of diverse skills to create visually engaging work, focused on sparking detailed connections with audiences. I am drawn to projects that combine storytelling, craft and collaboration. My practice spans an exciting range of scales and materials, from intricate tabletop puppets and finely painted details to large festival puppets and theatre backcloths. I enjoy the challenge of switching between precision and spectacle, but most importantly exploring how my work can contribute to creating genuine and lasting connections with individuals and communities. Sustainability sits at the heart of my work, not as a limitation , but as a driving force for inventive, imaginative and resourceful craftsmanship. I love finding creative potential in reclaimed or unexpected materials.
